The facts of hunting at the ranch

Will I have a guide or is this an unguided hunt?
Yes, you will have a guide for the purpose of safety and as an aid to trophy selection.

What time should I arrive?
We will work out the details for your arrival at the time of booking your hunt.

Is RV parking available and is there a charge?
Parking is available and there is no extra charge.

What about accommodations?
The Ranch does have accommodations available in our Hunters Cabin which
includes a kitchenette, microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker.  The cabin can
sleep 8 people but guests need to bring their own sleeping bag.

Rates:
$50.00 per person per day.
$95.00 per person per day with 2 meals provided.
Hunter's first night is gratis.
*  All children under the age of thirteen must have adult supervision at all times.

How do I pay?
At this time we can only accept cash, cashier's check or money order. Personal
checks may be used for a deposit to reserve the date of  your hunt.  Special
arrangement's can be made to pay by Visa or Mastercard.

Do I need a license or tag?
This is a private herd on private land.  There are no license or tags required for Bison
or Squeakers.

What caliber is the best to hunt with?
Any high powered rifle .30 cal or greater would be sufficient.  It's all about the
placement of the shot.  Bison are classified as "large and dangerous game".  Bow
hunters are also welcome.

What do I bring for the hunt?
Whatever you normally would for a elk/deer hunt.  However, hunter orange is
not necessary.  We recommend that you bring a couple of clean tarps for
transporting your meat.  Also, trucks without a canopy are preferred for ease of
loading carcasses in.  Remember the Ranch sits at 4400 feet altitude, so bring
warm clothing.

Are family and friends allowed on the hunt with me?
Yes, they are more than welcome.  However, they must also sign the "Waiver
and Assumption of Risk" form.
